Packages of 5 - Massages: 5x60 min $395, 5x90 min $540

Regular Massages:

Swedish Massage
This classic massage treatment uses regulated pressure to release knots and tension in the body. A good treatment for everybody.

Deep Tissue Massage
This sophisticated treatment uses elbows and forearms for a truly effective deep tissue massage. It is perfect for those who play sports or lead a physically active life.

Table Shiatsu
Shiatsu massage uses finger pressure and stretching techniques to relieve muscle tension, ease joint stiffness and re-align your body structurally. Pressure along energy pathways of your body moves stagnant energy and brings your body into balance. Shiatsu treatments are deeply relaxing and have an overall calming effect, allowing your body the opportunity to heal itself. Regular Shiatsu sessions help to prevent the build-up of stress in our daily lives.

Healing Massage
A deeply relaxing and therapeutic massage combining a variety of techniques from Polarity, Cranial Sacral, NMT, (Neuro-Muscular Therapy) Shiatsu, Reflexology, Sport Massage and Trigger Points using aroma therapeutic oils. Let your body float to a relaxed state of blissful energy.

Trigger Pt. Therapy

Trigger point massage utilizes ischemic compression of individual areas of hypersensitivity in muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia. A trigger point is an area within soft tissue structures that is characterized by local tenderness and/or referred phenomena which can include pain, tingling, numbness burning or itching. Trigger points can cause quite a bit of pain, and trigger point massage is an effective mode of healing.

Polarity Therapy
Polarity Therapy incorporates body work including reflexology, gentle and firm touch, energy exercises, and open communication facilitating self awareness. The blockages and restrictions are cleared and the client's energy field is restored to its natural state of balance to bring a sense of deep relaxation, relief from specific symptoms, clarity or new insight.

Cranial Sacral Therapy
This therapy is a gentle hands-on-method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the cranio sacral system. Using a soft touch generally no greater than the weight of a nickel, your practitioner releases restrictions in the cranio sacral system to improve the function of the central nervous system. This therapy is particularly useful for stress, neck and back pain, migraines.

Reiki
Reiki is an old art of energy healing. This technique uses the Universal Life Energy to initiate healing from within and is administrated by “laying on hands”. Its direct effects include also reducing stress and promoting relaxation. It can also help a person get in touch with the inner self, which is essential for personal improvement.

Foot Reflexology
Focusing on pressure points to release blockages and re-establish the body’s energy flow. This massage will relax and rejuvenate you.

Speciality Massages:

Breuss Massage
Breuss Massage is a very gentle massage that safely stretches, nourishes, aligns and energizes the spine. Herbal oil is used to massage into and around the spine to help expand the discs, this increases the distance between the vertebrae and results in improved flexibility. This deeply sensitive technique is using very gentle pressure to help alleviate pain, to relax back muscles, to regain spinal mobility and improve blood circulation.
45min $95

Hot stone Massage (La Stone)
This unique form of bodywork utilizes heated and cooled stones applied in various strokes to relieve stiff, sore muscles. The Sanctuary stone therapy is a perfect way to relieve the deepest muscle aches and soothe the soul.
60 min $95, 90 min $130

Mechanical Lymphatic Drainage (Vacuum Massage)
This amazing service helps your lymphatic vessels and surrounding tissues remove toxins, stimulate circulation, and cleanse tissues. This technique helps to reduce puffiness and dehydrated skin.
60 min $100

Thai Massage
Thai massage uses passive stretching and gentle pressure along the body’s energy lines to increase flexibility, relieve muscle and joint tension and balance the body’s energy systems. Thai massage is both deeply relaxing and energizing. Thai massage takes place on a futon mat on the floor, and you wear loose fitting clothing.
60min $95, 90min $130

Deacon Carpenter - Ayurvedic Consultations

I got my first introduction to Ayurveda at the age of 16. I was 320lbs with a host of health problems, which were making me miserable. I changed my lifestyle, diet and took up Yoga.
After about a year, I shed 140lbs and realized that it was my life's calling to re-introduce Ayurveda to the world, but give more of an approachable tone.

I spent 14 years in Global Advertising in New York City, and in 2007, decided it was high time I finished my studies in Ayurvedic medicine. I felt that I could really make a difference in the world, rather than just push out another ad campaign.

As a practitioner, I am honored to have the knowledge of Ayurveda and have been privileged to be my patients partner in health. I look forward to being a partner in yours. Ayurveda comes from two Sanskrit words: Ayus, meaning life, and Veda, meaning knowledge or science. Therefore, Ayurveda is the knowledge or science of life.

In Ayurveda, our body mechanics may be similar, but our physiologies are truly unique. Here in the West, Ayurveda is known as CAM (Complementary Alternative Medicine). However, Ayurveda covers the wholisitic health of the body, mind and spirit through diet and the practice of yoga and the use of herbs.
Together, these practices help to maintain health, and prevent disease.
Developed in 1500 BC, Ayurveda has deeply influenced other popular medical practices, such as Chinese traditional medicine, Arabic, Greek and even Western medicine as we know it today.

Ayurveda was the first medical practice to classify the study of disease into 8 branches (Internal medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Psychology, ENT, Toxicology, Gerontology & Aphrodisiacs or fertility).

Raphael Barker - Massagetherapist and Healer

Raphael Barker performs a combination of Thai, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point and Reiki in his work; informed by his background in counseling, meditation, and the martial arts. He holds a degree in Buddhist and Western Psychology and emphasizes breath and presence in his work to both relax and train the nervous system to adapt better to stress. His work is deep, slow, and compassionate. He is currently working towards a 3 year certification in Somatic, a body based psychotherapeutic technique aimed at resolving and healing trauma.

As a client, you can choose to do either a Swedish and Deep Tissue massage that is done on a table or a Thai Medical Massage which is done on a mat (like Shiatsu). Thai medical massage uses a combination of stretches, joint mobilizations, compression, and pressure points to balance the system and optimize physical performance. Raphael also looks for trigger points: often painful muscle nodules that when released, provides relief to the surrounding musculature.
