By exploring the art of opening through effort and surrender, we will cultivate a spacious lower body, focus on the roots of our being, and find the lotus that is waiting to unfold! With deliciously deep hip openers, twists and forward bends, we will unlock the hip flexors, psoas, and groins, free the quads and hamstrings, realign the spine, clear energy blockages in the root and sacral chakras, and free the creative consciousness deep within. We will work towards an adventurous exploration of lotus (padmasana) and its variations. This practice will leave you feeling grounded, earthy, and radiant with shri!

KK is a Certified Anusara yoga teacher who grew up in the forests of East Texas. She was blessed to begin her Anusara journey studying intensively with her teacher John Friend in 1998 and has thousands of hours of studying directly with him for over 11 years.
